The concept is that you take the watch off and slap it on your bike. However, getting it on the bike is too time-consuming to be useful to me. You have to remove both straps with a tool to be able to attach it to the clip on your handlebars. When you’re ready to run again, you have to reattach the watch straps again. It took me about a minute to do this each time. I had assumed I could just attach the watch without removing the straps.

This product is the older version and is most preferred by runners. It works great, charge lasts several days and it was sold to me at a very good price. Vender was a little late shipping it and graciously ate the 2d day air charges. I would highly recommend using this vender and this product. The newer version is very sensitive to touch and during exercise a rub of a shirt sleeve will reset it. The newer one looks nice and is smaller, but most runners don’t care for it because of it activating itself and running out the power.

The amount of functionality and feedback provided by this watch is awesome. I can download accurate heart rate, pace, elevation, grade onto the software and store them for analysis or comparative analysis with other routes. I’ve had this about a week and I feel as though I’m just scratching the surface in regards to how this watch will enhance my training. It’s also nice that it has modes for running, cycling, and a broad category for use with other sports.

The person who said it fell off the quick release must have been doing something wrong. I wiped out HARD three times on my bike last year and it never even thought of coming off.

Worked as expected straight out of the box. It syncs up with my mac just fine, too.
