I bought this unit when the Mrs. bought me a Harmony 1100 for Christmas. I have HT seats with cupholders and had gotten used to just placing my regular remote in the cupholder and since it was a traditional style remote that worked just fine.

The 1100 though is like a little tablet, so it obviously doesn’t fit in the cupholder. I ordered the bracketron and it works perfectly!!! It is fully adjustable as advertised. The adjustments ensure that I am not blocking the IR emitters from the remote while still holding it perfectly in place. The base fits exactly as it should in the cupholder and once tightend it’s not going anywhere. The thick rubber padding securely holds your device and I haven’t seen any marring or making left on the remote from it. I had my remote in place and I was carelessly walking around with it by the base station, once I realized this I was happy to see that it didn’t go anywhere and stayed exactly where I secured it.

I highly recommend this product, I also plan to use for my GPS unit on road trips. You can’t beat this product for the price…

I got a Droid when they first came out and had been looking for a bracket for my car ever since. Didn’t want one stuck to my windshield so the cup holder variety looked promising. This was the only unit I could find that had both a flexible arm and the bracket itself swiveled. This unit is well designed and easy to use. The soft padding in the bracket lets you slide the phone in and out without having to readjust the width every time, yet holds it in place securely. My only complaint is that the base that expands into the cup holder tends to slip out over time, as cup holders tend to angle outward slightly. This could be easily prevented by putting some strips of the same spongy material that lines the bracket (Do you hear that Bracketron?). Other than that this is a great choice at a terrific price and I highly recommend it. BTW, the bracket expands quite a bit and could fit any number of devices such as iPods, GPS units, etc. Or, you could just get a Droid and have all that great stuff in one piece of equipment!

This adjusts nicely into an cup holder. It is adjustable all around, so it is pretty universal. I really like how I can still follow my gps and not worry about the suction ring left on my windshield.

Medium to medium high quality product. It fits the cup holder size and adjusts nicely. Unfortunately while it fits the cup holders of my 2009 Mini Cooper it can not be adjusted out of the way of the stick shift. Drivers of automatic transmission cars should not have this problem though.

I tried 3 different ones for my Ipod touch. This fit the best in my 2009 corvette. It also was the least expensive of the 3.
